The weekly schedule includes 2 hours reserved for three different academic options:

• Second Foreign Language: the study of Spanish, French or German

• Enhancement of the English language: CLIL courses carried out by a native speaker

• Guided study: the students are accompanied to revise contents and methods of the studied subjects, by doing the homework given by the teachers, studying and exposing the learned contents in school. Italian, Maths and History teachers are responsible for the activities carried out and also take advantage of the help of tutors to encourage a more focused and small-group work

• Learning a musical instrument (not included in the tuition): guitar, piano and transverse flute

Malpighi is partnered with the “G. B. Martini” Musical Conservatory of Bologna to hold pre-academic courses (PRE-AFAM). For this option, an additional fee is required.

All the activities included in the personalised academic programs are evaluated with a specific grade in the Evaluation Document. The programs chosen are valid for three years and it is only possible to modify them in particular cases and in agreement with the Class Council

• STEAM (not included in the tuition): a path that includes Science, Technology, Art, Maths to teach the students to design and realize their own creative ideas.
